The Tell Show
We were feeling rather cynical about this, until we heard it, at which point we were immediately won over by its lashings of charm and sincerity. In brief, hosts Summer Anne Burton and Isaac Fitzgerald plus celebrity guest/s share true and ideally secret confessions. A game of 'Never Have I Ever' (in which Isaac rings his bell inordinately often) is followed by a little-aired revelation from the featured guest, and a final set of queries, always the same: When did you last cry? When was your last kiss? What's wrong with you? The answers to these questions never fail to strike to the heart. Guests to date have run the celeb spectrum: we've heard marriage equality heroes Edie Windsor and Roberta Kaplan describe their long association; Cheryl Strayed briskly address bum sex; W. Kamau Bell, host of a very good and specific podcast, describe his infant daughter's period (this is a thing). And did we mention it's funny? It's really funny, really often.
Basically, get on this. It's great. Season 1, comprising ten 30-minute episodes, is complete.
