The Complete Guide to Everything

The Complete Guide to Everything

It's about time we paid our respects to podcast OGs Tim and Tom, who've been in this game since 2009. If you're a long-time podcast listener, you have at least a few shows like this in your subscription list - whose hosts' voices are as familiar to you, at this point, as those of your proper friends who don't live on the radio. Allow us to introduce Tom, a comic book enthusiast and former Apple Genius, who now writes science fiction novels; he is frequently unhappy with his customer service experiences in New York City. Then there's Tim, a crotchety old man in a young man's body, who hates pretty much everything, but especially the things Tom likes. The two aim to discuss every subject that exists (one per episode) and make funny work of it. Enter at whichever episode title speaks to you - whether it's jury duty, ghosts, coffee shop etiquette or Claire Danes - armed with the proviso that you may learn literally nothing of the topic at hand.

Gateway episodes: Sleuthing (September 6, 2010) / Fears: Elevators (August 20, 2012) / Doctor Who (September 2, 2012) / Creeps (Apr 18, 2013) / Electronic Dance Music (October 13, 2013) / Kanye West (February 13, 2015)
